Livewire exists solely through the enthusiasm of Andy and his volunteers. Many youngsters have started there musical journey here. They get involved in the local community and sometimes it is possible to see touring bands at their venue. It a brilliant idea with such good results, support it because it seems youth support is coming to an end as far... More

Excellent music venue, and a great hub for the local kids. Aside from live music, they have drop-in advice sessions for teenagers.

My son went to Live Wire regularly and enjoyed every visit. He learnt to play guitar and drums and is now an accomplished player. It is well organised and there is never any trouble there. If there were more places like Live Wire for teenagers the world would be a better place.

The venue is run by Andy and Julie with a supportive team of volunteers. All of the team are very friendly, welcoming and supportive. On my first visit to the venue Andy went to meet and welcome me, and sang an improv song on his guitar. Over the years I have seen that Andy greets as many of the new... More

We have friends and relatives in Saltash. Live wire is a fantastic facility for their and our young people. If you live in our near Saltash take a look at the website and the numerous references online. Most unexpected given the generally suburban downbeat personality of the town.

My son attended Livewire for several years. It is a charitable organisation run by dedicated and experienced volunteers and musicians. They teach young people how to play many instruments although guitar appears popular. They have sound engineers and help budding musicians get going. Often have visiting well known musicians and is well Patronised by the best. It's situated in a beautiful... More
