As a local I see this monstrosity everyday. It cost an absolute fortune - no matter where the money came from it could have been better spent! Finally it should have been placed in a better position.

I really liked this sculpture it caught my eye shinning in the sun. Well situated as it is very visible from the town.

Cleverly sited so as to be deliberately "not in your face" like The Angel of the North in Gateshead. Quietly makes the bold statement that you are entering the beautiful Duchy of Cornwally. Lovely piece.

Disappointing response to this impressive sculpture, perhaps due to its location to the right of the bridge as you enter Cornwall - may easily be missed by travellers. When approaching on foot, the circular Cornish slate circular base was a highlight for me, along with...More

Supposed to be a landmark but someone forgot to put it somewhere anyone would notice it. The structure is OK and in a nice setting for a picnic but is it a landmark? It's all about location as they say.

It would have been more appropriate to have had a granite traditional Celtic cross situated in the middle of the Carkeel roundabout at the top of the hill, where visitors would be able to see it a lot better than tucked away where it is.

why would you bother , unless your walking your dog ...you can see all by driving from Plymouth to saltash , just not worth the effort ...

Well worth taking a look at if you are in the area, In fact it is an amazing part of the county. I recommend that you walk down to the waterside as there is so much more to see.

It's a nice walk around the cross, lovely views across the bridge, but not quite sure what it's here for, yes it's a Cornish cross, yes it's the bridge to Cornwall, but we already know this. Don't we??
