We love going here and love how clean and tidy it is kept. Please do not ignore the signs they are there for the wellfere of the animals eg. Do not feed bread to the chickens last time we where here i still saw people throwing in bits of bread! Great for a day out with family. Free! And there... More

My grandson loves this place. The animals are ideally suited to children in that they are very quiet by nature. It's well laid out in that children can walk around the animals' area with full views. There is also a play park adjacent. A really nice touch it the provision of hand washing facilities as one leaves the animals area.... More

All their animals pens are VERY small, and the ratio of goats they have in one paddock is just very bad! I know it should smell of animal poop and that, but it smells bad in a very unhealthy way. They even have this huge black cage thing as you enter the farm section, it's full of usual small birds... More

On first sight this place looked ok. Pony looked healthy as did some little goats. The poultry however were in dirty small enclosures - several were missing clumps of feathers and were being harassed and pecked by others as we watched. A dark room of young turkeys smelt to high heaven. Pigs seemed to have nothing but a field of... More

I always take kids around here because it's free, there's a park, a free farm, the lakes, a maze and many gardens. I like the fact that there's always something you missed on a previous trip. Yesterday I only noticed the Viking! Well recommended when you are skint and want to get out!

Great wee place to visit with kids, no entrance fee and the farm is extremely clean and tidy, plenty of different types of animals to see and an ice-cream van in the car park.. Beautiful well maintained park and gardens to go for a walk and plenty of picnic tables in the area...
