This home made famous due to it's previous owner May Gibbs who wrote 'The Gum Nut Babies'. Short trip across the harbour to get there. Tour guide had many interesting tales of May, her work and her life there.

When you get to Neutral Bay Wharf you can catch a bus to close by the cottage. It is a short but quite steep walk up from the wharf.
