Great weekend in Listowel for family christening. Billy entertained us with great stories and great hospitality ! Anyone visiting Listowel, John B Keanes is a must. Great Irish bar.

Because of the literary provenance, I visited here but I have to say, any inspirational impressions are long gone. It is a basic, basic small town bar, with signs inducing you to purchase JB's books and pretty much nothing else to say about the place....More
