Follow the signs and you'll get there, don't turn back at the first or second gate because it is so worth the trip to the end of the road! We were greeted by Vera and 4 of her beautiful dogs (they are very friendly). Vera...More

Verart he's definitely Off the Beaten path and if you're looking for something special to do, far from the tour buses, you should consider this place. It's a little bit of a jog down a single lane road to reach this place but it's well...More

Do not even think about trying to go there! IYou would have to follow a serpentine narrow road, pray that no one is driving in the opposite direction, feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and when you approach it, the gate is...More

A beautiful setting overlooking a valley. The owner was very interesting and she has beautiful works of art. I especially liked her tree house. It's hard to find. Had to go through 2 (I think) cattle gates. But worth the effort

We saw the signs for Verart on the road and I spontaneously turned off the main highway towards the hills.... at the time it felt as though we were driving to Neverland, each time we thought we should turn around a new Verart sign would...More

This place is a real find, a wonderful very Irish--read magical, quirky, creative--experience even though the owners originally are from Germany. It is fairly close to the Bonane Heritage Park; both attractions are an easy drive from Kenmare, and both can be visited the same...More
