This is a must see place!! The drive in is gorgeous and arrival at the park showed picturesque views. We were suggested to take the red route as it's the most popular, however we didn't complete it as it got insane with the hike past...More

This is a beautiful park - perhaps among the most beautiful scenery we saw in the west of Ireland. The ability to hike it makes it even better. We were lucky enough to be there on a blue sky day in October - just stunning.

I have visited the stone circle below Gleninchaquin several times before and know it to be magical and a very special place; the second stone circle - higher up on the hillside - is worth the climb. The views are stunning and we visited in...More

My mother and I visited on a whim. We were so awestruck by the natural beauty of the park. It was only 5 euros per person for admission. The park is large, and is good for picnics, hikes, and walks. My only wish is that...More

Gleninchaquin Park is really stunningly beautiful. It really is a hidden gym and so well maintained and run. I had read some of the bad reviews and I felt compelled to 'set the record straight'. This hidden gym is well worth a visit and the...More

This place was one of the highlights of my stay in southwest Ireland. Starting with the stone circle on the way into the valley, hiking up to the famine cabin and through the sheep pastures, this valley was in a world of its own. The...More

We had the best ever walk/hike here, at this hidden gem. We felt that it was worth every cent of the €12, however I think it should be something like €12 max per car. Glad it’s not being ruined by coach tours. Eileen was extremely...More

Some are. It depends on the ability of the child and also the ground underfoot. Wet weather increases the difficulty of some trails.
