I was not too sure about taking this tour, it seemed a bit too touristy, but we had some time in town and it seemed like fun. They said dolphin sighting was guaranteed for the trip was free. Hard to get guarantees like that these days. Anyway, we did indeed see the Fungie, who my friend who grew up in... More

Okay, we didn't get to see the Dingle Dolphin however the lad driving the boat was very kind, he let us sit in with him out of the cold when it rained, and he tried his best. It was just unfortunate. There was no hesitation in giving us a refund as it wasn't a successful trip. Many thanks and hopefully... More

A must do if you are in Dingle, everyone knows of Fungie. we were lucky with the weather as it was a very calm day, they said it never really gets too choppy in the bay so I am sure you can do this tour anytime. tour lasted about an hour and the scenery is gorgeous so bring the camera... More

We took the boat trip on a windy but sunny day. We did get to see Fungi, he arched up other of the water several times. The views from the boat were amazing so even if you don't get to see him it's a beautiful trip with a little history added in.

If you like just seeing one poor dolphin being drummed up from the water , then take this trip. This guy has been around a long time, and been entertaining tourists for years, hope he gets a rest soon!

We were really excited to see Fungie up close and personal. We wanted him to swim up, jump almost on the boat and give us each an Eskimo kiss. That did not happen, but that is okay. We saw him a few times near us and the crew sure made every effort by cruising around all parts of the Harbour... More

I have been to see Fungi in August and had a fantastic time. So my friends and our families decided to return on Oct 1st to see fungi again. That day Fungi was not in the mood for visitors, therefore, we barely saw his Fin 3-4 times. While the driver of the boat was extremely nice and his co-pilot, for... More

We booked this on a whim after driving on Slea Head. It was a pretty chilly, windy, rainy day but we had a blast! We saw Fungie within maybe 5 minutes and he teased us the rest of the tour. Other than spotting Fungie you also get a gorgeous view all around you as you go further out into the... More

Dingle is proud of Fungie - a wild Bottlenose Dolphin. We caught several glimpses of him during our boat tour. Thankfully, we were able to take the tour on a sunny day. (During our second day in Dingle, there was a huge rain storm and we could not do any outdoor activities.)

Saw Fungi (Fungie) many times in perfectly calm waters. He isn't sounding as high as he did in the past, but then again he has been there 42 years. We also went around the point and saw caves in the cliffs.
