This ancient building, like an upturned boat is the oldest church I have ever been to. Just one room, and so atmospheric. Just seeing the way it was made and imagining how the early monks worshiped here makes the hairs on your neck stand up!

Following Rick Steve’s instructions we followed direction to free parking spot. Quick walk up sidewalk got us the oratory. Small but very neat building with corbled walls.

This place is a wonderful example of ancient stone construction. It's amazing to stand there in the presence of something that was constructed so long ago. You have beautiful views from that location as well as a simple walk to a little castle to take...More

this was a highlight to see such a well preserved piece of history. There are two entrances. We took the one without all the tour buses. Lovely views as well.
