really fascinating and reasonably well preserved set of homes along with a grave site for the six children who died here. the climb is steep though short, and like all of slea head, the views are amazing.

stopped in to the irish famine cottages and it was well worth it.my grandson got great fun out of the animals and the adults had an interesting historical lesson of the past.great views and good value

Stopped at the famine cottages while driving around the DIngle area. Had fun seeing and feeding the animals on the walk up to the cottages. The cottages were a grim reminder of the hard life endured by the inhabitants. Wish there had been more information...More
