These concerts are wonderful! Find out which nights they are. I believe the days were different in 2015. In 2016 we went on Tuesday and Thursday. For those of us who are older, they start at 7:30 PM (I’m American). The musicians talk about what they are playing, and the instruments. I have had the Uillean pipes explained three times... More

Amazing to see this church used to such good effect as the main location for Other Voices. The designer does an amazing job of dressing and lighting it. It is good to wander round the graveyard and look at the old headstones if you get a chance.

We attended a trad music concert one night before heading out to the pubs. A very good place to hear some music where everyone is paying attention to the music.

It may be quaint...a little hidden on the main street but the quality of music and the artists that perform are super! You will even hear them again in the local pubs after the gig as that's normal!! But a quiet, perfect venue for intimate performances that are really special!!

We were lucky enough to catch a night of local music at the church which was a real treat! We heard a few different types of music and the crowd really got into it! Lots of fun indeed!

We attended a two hour concert of Irish music that was one of the highlights of our trip. The church is small and the seats (church pews) are too, but the acoustics were excellent and the trad music was fantasticl

We heard some beautiful music here. Get there early and realize that the seats are uncomfortable (but typical) church pews. Sit up front so you can see better. There is no incline to the seats, so it is difficult to see from the back.

Our tour guide recommended this concert. He said, "They will play some music." Vast understatement. First a guitar player who owns a local Pub played and sang mournful and beautiful ballads. He sounded and played like an Irish James Taylor. Then he was joined by a man who played an Irish instrument which preceded the bagpipes, but the bellows for... More

We dropped in at noon on Sunday, for the Sunday service. There was a very warm welcome from the small congregation, and the priest led a traditional Anglican communion service with great hymns and an excellent sermon.

If you're looking for wonderful Trad Irish music with local musicians away from pub scene, this is for you!! Loved it. Concerts only 3 nights a week, only 100 seats available, purchase early or buy at door. Best seats are up close but small venue and great sound system makes any seat great.
