My husband and I for our 30th anniversary had attempted to climb Mount Brandon with tour guide, Kevin, in 2018, but the weather shut us out. Fast forward to 2023 and we attempt again, but this time taking our group of eight adults on a walking tour with Kevin starting at Dunquin along the Dingle Peninsula. What an amazing hike! Kevin's historical knowledge of the area is mind blowing, and even with the rainy weather at the beginning managed to keep our group enthralled through the entire experience. Thank you so much, and I promise we'll be back to tackle that mountain again someday!

Celtic Nature did an amazing job arranging our Dingle hike. They customized the hike to suit our needs. At each place we stayed, it was clear that our hosts knew Claire and Kevin. Claire answered all of our questions and made things easy. We spent a day with Kevin on a hike that was beautiful and full of information on local and Irish history. Use these great local guides to make your Dinge hike excellent!

In September 2023, we had the pleasure of organizing an self-guided 5-day hiking trip along the Kerry Way through Celtic Nature Walking Tours. We are immensely grateful to Claire for her impeccable and professional organization of our trip. She provided us with excellent guidance and tailored the experience to our preferences. The price-performance ratio exceeded our expectations, allowing us to enjoy our vacation and the breathtaking Irish scenery with complete peace of mind.

Ireland has so much more to explore, and without a doubt, we will be booking our next hiking adventure through Celtic Nature Walking Tours. Claire and her team's dedication to ensuring a memorable and worry-free experience has won our trust and loyalty.
We eagerly anticipate our next adventure in the stunning landscapes of Ireland, thanks to Celtic Nature Walking Tours.

The looped walk with Kevin along the Dingle peninsula staring and returning to the Blasket Island welcome center was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. Not only was it a spectacular day, Kevin went at the pace of the group, so we never felt rushed or bored. He was a captivating storyteller, describing fairies to Irish lore, which was my favorite part. I would recommend bringing a sandwich, snacks, water on this walk, which we all had the foresight to do! I really enjoyed this walk and would highly recommend the Celtic Nature walking and Kevin in particular.

Wonderful family walk with Kevin. It was perfect in landscape and length. Kevin was excellent company and we really enjoyed his stories of myth and legend and local knowledge. He kept my three teenagers engaged and the route was one we’d never have found ourselves. A great day.

Their local knowledge gave Claire and Kevin the ability to book us in excellent accommodations during our walk around the Dingle peninsula. Claire provided a personalized itinerary with good contact information and instructions for all of our stops. I could never have assembled such a good tour from Canada. Kevin loves Irish history and culture; during our day with him, he overflowed with information, and he even knows the dates of the significant information. A good walking companion.

We had the honor and privilege of having Claire and Kevin arrange our 6 day visit along the Dingle Way including 4 days of hiking.

It was the best travel decision I have ever made in my life.

So many things were perfect but here are a few of the points that stand out.

Claire and Kevin have true hospitality and a desire to share their heritage and culture. Kevin knows everything about history, literature, folklore, politics and nature. Spending a day hiking with Kevin was like spending a day with greatest scholars of Ireland as our host.

Claire's logistics that made life so easy for us from pick ups and returns to Tralee to the transport of our bags between stops. How she does it all is beyond my understanding. The quality of the inns and the breakfasts and lunchs provided were outstanding and far beyond what we expected. Every innkeeper was also a true character that brightened our days. Breakfasts were huge and delicious. And our two stays in towns near the ocean including wonderful rooms right by the ocean with amazing views over the sea.

We can't think of a single thing they could improve. We are so glad we found them and give them our highest recommendations.

Kevin is a delight! We are a fit family of 4 with 2 active teens and wanted a hike to be a good challenge, but nothing heroic. The east approach up Mt Brandon was what he and Claire suggested and it was absolutely perfect. Beautiful vistas, a waterhole for dipping, and conversation we didn’t want to end! Although we are experienced hikers, it was worth the price for his expertise as the path is not well-marked on the top 1/3 which is a fun scramble to the peak. We will happily book a hike with them again when we come back!

We had an amazing time walking and talking with Kevin around the Blasket Island Center, Dunquin Pier, and along the Wild Atlantic Way on the Dingle Peninsula. I loved hearing about the legends and mythology of ancient Ireland as we took in the amazing sights. Highly recommend!
