The Erris Peninsula is right on the Atlantic coast and part of the Wild Atlantic Way. The peninsula is in the firing line of the strong winds from the ocean, for this reason on the Erris Head Looped walk you will not see a single...More

Although this well-marked walk does not get the attention that many others do, it is indeed outstanding. Cliffs and coastal scenery, and without the crowds. I saw only two other people, at the end of a two-hour walk. There is a dress code: good walking...More

We did this walk and as worldwide travellers I can only describe it as the most stunning, memorable experience ever. Here are some pics but you need to visit to appreciate it for yourselves

The loop is a beautiful and slightly strenuous walk with views that are as breathtaking as the Cliffs of Moher!

I walked this with my teenage son, beautiful views, signage a little difficult to follow at times, but u really can't go that far wrong. Beautiful on a sunny day. Well worth it.

We did this walk and it was a beautiful and worthwhile activity. However, at the top of the loop I found it quite hard to follow the arrows and became disorientated for a while. It needs improvement on signage in parts outlined previously. You cannot...More

Take time to look around as the views are breathtaking, and take the opportunity to visit the public premises.
