This is off the beaten path but worth exploring. Follow the creek up to the caves, then head down to the Waters edge to see St Patrick's well and the rosary path. Doesn't take too long but a really nice spot
Two buildings one slightly lower down hill,both originally using the same running water to operate flax processing machinery. Presently the lower water wheel drives generators producing electricity to heat buildings..good coffee and home baking available here,sitting next to water wheel and over river,very restful.
The coffee shop is open on Sunday's for the time being not sure of times.. As for the mill wheel and surrounding areas no charge and always accessible.. It is just beside the river, catsby caves and st patricks well.
