Great little museum with lots of good local interest items. Great staff on hand to assist, particularly with family search requests. Well worth dropping in to see them.

I was very impressed with the Museum as it had on display a varied selection of items of interest to young and old, all well presented in a very easy to view location within the confines of the museum

Popped in here whilst looking round Slevins department store. The museum is run entirely by volunteers and open six days a week. The very knowledgable guide can tell you all about the history of Ballyshannon and local area, there are lots of original artefacts and...More

What a great museum and so much information in a small space. Located on top of a department store right in town that is run by volunteers that are very knowledgeable and very friendly. You can spend as much time since it's a self tour....More

Located on the top floor of Slevin's Department Store this is a small Museum currently developing it's exhibits and their presentation. While this is being done the current exhibits provide a true flavour of the local area, it's history and personalities and history of Donegal...More

A grand wee place, on top floor of department store in BALLYSHANNON. It covers a lot of local history, with plenty of artefacts. friendly curator and a coffee shop 2 floors below.Well worth it.
