A beautiful church, which concentrates sumptuousness, beauty and detail that only existed centuries ago.

This is the only Catholic church in Ireland with Irish influence (the hundreds of perfect hand carved shamrocks). It took 47yrs to build and it's easy to see why! The hand laid mosaic floor is amazing. Worth a side trip! They do allow flash photography and it's free to visit :)

The detail everywhere inside and outside this beautiful church is awe inspiring; it is truly a work of art. There are a couple of areas inside where you can light some votives for loved ones, which made the visit even more special. So lucky that we were able to visit here and take photos of this beautiful place. This church... More

The Cathedral Church of St Colman, usually known as Cobh Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Cobh, Ireland. It overlooks Cork harbour from a prominent position up on a hill. Construction began in 1867 and was not completed until over half a century later due to increases in costs and revisions of the original plans.

A beautiful little church next to the most beautiful water and trees. A holy well right inside the entrance. See the signs up the road to a beautiful forest that has many picnic tables, paths along a stream and a restroom.

We attended Mass here on a Sunday morning in July 2013. The priest did a great job with his homily. Very welcoming!
