This attraction has so much too offer all ages. From the Mining exhibition, to the long walks/runs and adventure for children. The coffee shop is excellent as are all the craft shops. A great day out for all ages.

Had a visit yesterday with an 8 and 5 year old. Huge disappointment from the minute we arrived. We were told they dont do hot chocolate for the kids anymore as "its a waste and they dont drink it all anyway". Mrs Claus was mediocre to say the least. Meeting Santa as part of a group is ridiculous when the... More

I booked Castlecomer Santa experience as a surprise for my daughter. It was our first time there and it was fantastic. All staff were helpful, friendly and great with children. On arrival there was tea/coffee or mulled wine for adults and juice and biscuits for the children. We got to visit Mrs Clause who really played her part well then... More

We have been to loads of different Santa christmas attractions and I feel this has been the best all round value for money, comfort, professionalism and plain good old Christmas Spirit. At €12 for adults and €17 for child it's reasonable. We visited Mrs Clause and the kids just loved her place. She was very good and entertaining and the.children.got... More

I am absolutely shocked by the previous review. I was there today and thought it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Castlecomer discovery park exudes atmosphere due to the overall design of the original buildings and this sets the scene wonderfully. I am comparing it to our visit to mount Juliet last year which was quite disappointing. The tea/coffee/mulled wine on... More

Went to visit Santa at Castlecomer Discovery Park on 13/12/16, what a shocking disappointment. We were brought straight from the coffee shop/reception area straight into Mrs Clauses house, it was awful.... Mrs Clause was about 20yrs old, didn't read a book or sign a song just continuously asked the children questions, no sense of atmosphere and the poor kids got... More

Just had our 9th annual Visit to Santa at the Discovery Park. Yet again the experience excelled itself. Every year the visit is packed with wonder and surprise. The Elves and helpers are unique and friendly with time for every child with the child's gift very carefully selected. For the adults the Mulled wine is a special touch.Arrive early as each... More

This park is well worth a visit. Lovely, well managed, woodland walks and a fantastic cafe for coffee or food when you're done. There is a big choice of delicious food available at reasonable prices. The craft shops are also worth calling in to when you're there.
