Wen the rain finally stopped, we drove from Caragh Lake to here to get some fresh air. It's a pleasant walk and a nice albeit somewhat desolate view. but beware of the wind. It's very strong.

Worth the drive as the beach is very good for wildlife spotting and the glorious views across the estuary. Toilets and parking and whilst not a sand castle beach I am sure kids would find plenty to do without the distractions of food and amusement...More

This is a quite beach and is quite stony rather than sandy. It has nice little rock pools when the tide is out and is a great place to take a peaceful walk.

The scenery is amazing - more spectacular than the beach itself, which is narrow and gravelly. The water is nice for swimming, as the dunes on Inch and Rosbeigh shelter Cromane from the open sea. Nice for a walk too.

A delightful peaceful sandy stone beach away from the tat for tourist shops, Stunning scenery with mountains behind and water in front. Magical.

Love coming here, very quiet and good for dog walking. A few times we have notices quite a deal of rubbish though which is a shame, some very selfish people!

We really don't see what the fuss is with this beach. It is just rocks and seaweed. Yes there are the mountains across the bay but there are a lot of nicer views of them elsewhere in the area. The beach is also very narrow....More

Nothing compares to the wild and rugged beauty of Cromane. Standing on the beach watching the sun set behind sandy inch and seeing the surrounding mountains reflected in the serene blue sea is breathtaking. Lovely peninsula if you're a keen walker or bird spotter. And...More
