Brilliant place to visit. The bar and shop staff are so friendly and the good is wonderful. The bog museum is a real treat. It was so lovely to see the kerry bog ponies. Great to see an old bread being saved! Well done.

Me and my class stopped at the Bog Village during our Ring of Kerry trip in May of 2017. It was such a cool place and I loved the animals! The dogs were so sweet and so was the mini horse! The gift shop was...More

Called in for a look but was very disappointed. The price to see some old houses, sheds and animals was over the fence so gave it a miss. The place was overcrowded with buses and tourists, most of who were in the Red Fox Pub...More

Called in for a morning coffee stop and brief look round. The village museum itself if both interesting and informative on living in the 18th and 19th century. The adjacent pub the Red Fox Inn is ideal for an Irish Coffee, quick snack or something...More

Stopped here with Collette tour and the village was an option. Enjoyed seeing the houses and out blogs. and the various exhibits. Red Fox bar next door has great Irish coffee and a gift shop.

Such a great informative place for learning more about Irish history. There were several cottages explaining who lived there and what they did for occupation. It gives a real sense of the deprivation and hardships of the area during the 18th and 19th centuries. It...More

We went to see the bog ponies. They're in a field at the back. There is an electric fence preventing them from coming to the gate so you can't pet them or anything. My daughters ride ponies and were disappointed to not pet them. The...More

Really enjoyed stopping here on our coach tour! Really helped me get the idea of what everyday life was like for many people in the past! Also nice to see sheep and Irish Wolfhounds up close.

This was a neat glimpse into Ireland of old. One of the cottages was burning peat and it smelled terrible. I cannot imagine having that be my source of heating. There were a couple of Irish Wolfhounds there along with some sheep and ponies. They...More

I very much doubt that there is direct public transport from Dingle to this attraction. There is probably a series of different buses etc that would get you there but it’s a good distance from Dingle. At least a sixty to... More
