For safety reasons you can't get close to the castle, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't check it out. Especially since it's located so close to two stone forts and so close to Cahersiveen.

No one allowed near it anymore unfortunately. Not worth your time driving down to it. U can take a photo from the road I suppose or just look at this photo instead, uninspiring really.

Nice location and good for photos. Building is a little unsafe so please be careful if you decide to try climbing on it.

Old castle but can only view from the road. Wasnt aware of this and srove some pretty small lanes to see it. Nice castle however.

Since its a ruin, very pretty to say the least, for some reason visita are prohibited. So be careful if you go. Great site.
