Kells Bay House & Gardens is Ireland's premier sub-tropical botanical gardens situated overlooking Dingle Bay on the Ring of Kerry. It is home of the SkyWalk, Ireland's longest rope bridge (112 foot long). Ideal for everyone with over 3 kms of walks and lots of Dinosaurs for the children. We also have 4 star accommodation in the former Hunting Lodge, with our Cafe and our Thai restaurant, Sala Thai, open daily throughout the year (by prior appointment only in January).

Really enjoyed our trip here beautiful gardens and lay out. Lovely walk and the rope bridge was frightening but excellent to cross it. Had a buggy which needed to be lifted a few times but really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend it.

The spring stroll in the garden is breathtaking, and the restaurant is very good, too. A worthy place to stop on the Ring of Kerry with kids.

Driving down to Portmagee this sign happened to appear on a corner so I turned onto what seem to be a road less taken. I really didn’t think I was going in the correct direction. I passed a few other motorists and kept moving along...More

There is no questioning that the gardens are beautiful, but it was very expensive to walk around with little to no information about what plants we actually saw. It's an easy walk and parking is included.

The walk around the gardens was great. 8 Euros, considering the amount of work needed to maintain this extrordinary collection of plants seemed to be reasonable. The rope bridge was fun too! BUT... We arrived and had serious difficulty in raising anyone to take our...More
