We went with our four year old. Very interesting but access not great for little ones as you would expect and she got bored quickly. No coffee at the cafe which was disappointing.

Lovely views of this lighthouse from round the peninsula, especially the Glanleam Gardens. It is easier to come by ferry as the bridge to the island is a long way round.

The lighthouse has only been open to the public for four years, despite being in operation since the 1800s. There isn't a huge amount to see other than the views, but it is definitely worth going to see. Our younger son particularly enjoyed going up...More

We spent the day touring the island, and the lighthouse was suggested as a stop. There really wasn't much to see. The views from the lighthouse were great.
