This is a very impressive building overlooking the wonderful seaside town of Cobh. Great place to take pictures of Cork Harbour

We walked up to the cathedral and spent a few minutes inside. Our amazed reaction was just WHY build such a huge place in this small town? It is relatively modern - and although it has beautiful stained glass windows, we found little else of...More

The cathedral is the dominant building in Cobh, towering over the town. It is well worth a short visit. Excellent views from it over the bay. Steep climb up to it. Take the tourist train from the centre of the town if climbing is too...More

This cathedral is magnificent. This isn't the oldest cathedral you'll come across, but I'm sure it will be one of the nicest. It is definitely worth a visit.

Cathedral of St Colman..the exterior of the church is magnificent. The architectural design and statues on the outside walls give it a distinct European look. If you are in the area, it is well worth a visit.

The best thing about this location is that you can get a good view over the quayside where the last passengers for the Titanic boarded their tenders to sail out to join the ship. There are good views over the lower part of the town,...More

One of the nicest cathedrals I have seen. Built in 1868 and just amazing architecture. Little chapels and candle lighting stations. Woodwork and stonework totally fabulous. Hard to imagine how they could build such a magnificent building so many years ago.

We had children practising for their confirmation, signing in Irish - sounded wonderful... Lovely cathedral, beautiful stained glass windows. Well worth a visit.

Enjoyed the beautiful architecture and artistry. All hand carved and hand laid tile. The shamrocks were amazingly identical even though they were each individually carved.

They have two displays on their "Holy" doors, one is covered with mold spots and the glass front of the other is broken. Beautiful cathedral for idol worshippers

Hi, Greg. What would you like to know about this attraction? Is there a tour of the inside of the church or do you visit the outside only? I could not find anything on the inside of the church. thanks Greg
