Pat was a very informative guide and went out of his way to accommodate all levels of walkers (one chap in a wheelchair - a challenge in a very hilly town). We were here for a tour about the Titanic (Cobh being its last port of call on its fateful journey) but we learned also about the topedoing in the... More

Call here for something to do on Sunday and what a jewel. We were stuck for time and almost walked out as the place was busy and the next tour was booked out. But the staff were great with a suggestion to do the exhibition first (which comes at the end of the tour) while we wait. Great suggestion, thanks.... More

I spoke to Michael before arriving to Cobh and he was super helpful. We were just a couple minutes late coming from Waterford, so I called from the car and they were nice enough to wait. We parked right in front of the Commedore Hotel, it could'nt have been easier. The tour was one of the highlights of our trip... More

We're in Cork on Honeymoon. We visited Cobh and rang the tour line. Michael rang us back and booked us on the 11.00am tour. Tom is very friendly and helpful. The tour covers far more than the Titanic - the Lusitania disaster had more of an impact on the people here. Cobh itself is a lovely town and well worth... More

Tom was an excellent guide of Cobh telling us about its history, The Titanic and other tragedies and history of the town - just two of us on the tour so we were spoilt to get his undivided attention.

We were very glad we chose to go on this walking tour of Cobh. Our guide, Tom Foster, kept us engaged and entertained as he introduced us to the history and significant sights. We left with a personal feeling for the area that we would not otherwise have experienced.

From the moment you meet Michael Martin, you know he has a true love of history and research. He has a passion for the tragic history of the beautiful town of Cobh. He takes you through the fate of the Lusitania and the tragic death of so many innocent people . He brings to life the role the towns people... More

This is the factual (non-Hollywood version) of the Titanic and its connection to the history of Cobh. Michael Martin meets you at the Commodore Hotel and walks you along the historic waterfront detailing the evolution of Cobh as a critical harbour in the region. We enjoyed his personalized, 75-minute tour and learned a lot! (He dispelled a few myths too!)

Enjoyed this historical talk with our guide Michael. More of a talk than a walk but full of Historical facts about Cork Harbour, the Luistania and the Titanic. Really enjoyed.

Michael Martin is a first rate historian who led our small group tour along the water front in Cobh, Ireland. We learned a great deal about the ship, passengers and the unfortunate sinking. Well work the hour on our first day in Ireland.
