My husband and I took 44 Canadian on tour of Ireland and brought them to Cobb. Great place, history to see, and so much information for them to hear.

Right on the Waterfront at Cobh, this Statue commemorates the Irish who emigrated to America from Cobh hoping for a better life over the pond.

This is a simple statue on the dock in Cobh. Very moving inlight of the world today. Saw this as we got off the cruise ship. It's in front of a very interesting museum about the county.

It is just a small statue with a huge story of Irish history. There is a similar one in America on Eliss Island.

This statue is right outside the Heritage Center in Cobh. Another interesting bit of history, especially if you are Irish and believe your ancestors may have left from that spot.

It interesting to know that the Irish started going to America from this point. There is another statue of Annie Moore in New York showing her entering the country.

Placed in front of the Cobh Heritage Center, this statue will move you. This young girl’s bravery to make this voyage with her two younger brothers was incredible. Also, gives you a taste of what you will see inside the Heritage Centre.

We really enjoyed to see this. Our daughter had recently done it in history and was delighted to see it.on the day we saw it a ship was docked beside it and made it feel very real and quite emotive.

It's only a short walk along the street, just a few minutes. The statue is right outside the Cobh Heritage Centre which is also a must-see as well as the Titanic Experience!

Not very far at all. In fact it is located right outside the building where the Titanic Experience is located in. Enjoy!
