Our family with adult children visited Ireland and Cobh. We stumbled into the Roaring Donkey and made it our evening hang out. They welcomed tourists. We discovered Beamish!!

Was meant to host the Ukelele Festival on Sat Night but the beer garden was closed for refurbishment. Was jammed as a result.

What a wonderful pub. Totally authentic. Some refurbishment has been done to open up the place more but the original counter was taken out and installed again when work was finished. A quiet night and we still had a sing 🎶 song. Not to be...More

This is one of my favourite pubs in Cobh, always a warm welcome, great beer and excellent area out the back if you want to be inside yet outside.
