We luckily got a last minute place on Wave Chieftan as there was a group cancellation and was that a blessing or what! Gerry the skipper was so sound and genuinely wanted our small group to have a brilliant experience and we certainly did. The trip was €40pp and was to last between 2.5 - 3 hours. We were out... Thank you for coming out whale watching with us on the Wave Chieftain this week. With nature you just cannot guarantee any sightings but on your trip we were lucky to spot both Minke and Humpback as well as the very playful dolphins. We don't watch the clock too closely when having fun with everyone on board happy to stay... More

Came here in a party for a weeks diving and we had a great time. Brilliant dives including diving the Fastnet Rock and a U-Boat as well as lots of other great dives. Not a bad one amongst them. Gerry is a really good skipper and a diver himself so he knows what we want. Rianne's cooking is superb. I... More

As well as a Bed & Breakfast, Jerry and Rianne also operate an excellent and highly professional dive centre. The provide full services from training, dive trips from a boat, equipment hire, service and sale. Full PADI certified I have used the centre for various diving needs over the years and have found both Jerry and Risnne to be professional... More

We really enjoyed our snorkelling experience with Rianne in Lough Hyne. She shared a wealth of information to us prior to and during to our snorkelling, and made us feel completely at ease and comfortable with the snorkelling - making it a thoroughly enjoyable activity that we would love to do again. Would definitely recommend to anybody - thanks!!

Hello Fiona, Thanks for your review and I'm please that you, your brother Sean and sister Lorraine enjoyed the snorkel tour at Lough Hyne and that we got the timing perfect for seeing the change from ingoing to outgoing tide at the rapids - such a magical moment. Look forward to seeing you again, perhaps for a whale & dolphin... More

With a group of 11 divers we stayed in the Stonehouse ran by Rianne. It was a great stay and we loved the personal care of Rianne, the clean house, the daily fresh towels and above all the great choice of breakfasts. She's a real magician in cooking, and a great manager. The diving in the beautiful Irish seas was... More

Had the pleasure of renting our gear from Aquaventures to go on 2 unaccompanied dives in Baltimore. Our host gave us excellent, clear directions to ensure we were diving in a safe location with all the required local knowledge. An excellent service, i would recommend it highly

Aquaventures was a great find for us. We hired snorkelling equipments from them and snorkelled in Lough Hyne. It was an amazing exp all in all. The equipments were good and well mantained. And the best part was the instructions given to us by Rianne which made our exp really comfortable and safe. Highly recommended!

Rianne and Jerry provided an excellent diving experience for my wife and I in July. Our 3 days of diving were great. The wrecks were interesting (Kowloon Bridge & Alondra), Fastnet Rock was stunning, and the scenic diving provided a wide array of abundant marine life to see. Rinanne and Jerry were safety conscious and provided good direction on where... More

Me and two friends spent a Saturday day doing beginners diving with Rianne. Must say I'm really glad we went to Aquaventures to do it. Rianne has been diving for over 30 years and you could tell that you were in safe hands with her. She made the whole experience very easy and we soon got the hang of diving... More

I'm delighted you all enjoyed the introduction to scuba diving and we were of course blessed with excellent visibility and calm weather which meant we could do those two dive sites from the shore in comfort and see all the beautiful colours and creatures around Bullock Island and the cave. Your girlfriend might enjoy a whale & dolphin watching trip... More
