Wonderful XII century Cistercian abbey. A huge ruin with some restoration. The cloister is worth the visit alone. Beautiful evocative structures with delightful medieval sculptured corbels. Beautiful countryside and had lunch in charming Thomasville.

Off the beaten track but beautiful ancient abbey. Guides will take you around (included with modest admission price) and take you back in time as you walk the site. If you are in the area, don’t miss it!

Took my nieces and son for a wander around Jerpoint Abbey. Great way to spend some time exploring and the treasure hunt was great...kept the kids busy while also keeping them interested in the beauty of the remains :)

The hosts were very welcoming and great at engaging our children’s interest. The trail activity really focused their attention and they loved their prize for completing it too.

Went here with a friend, the entrance fee was worth it. The building is well preserved, being restored in places, guided tours are available and there are exhibits from the buildings history. Well worth a look

Jerpoint was recommended in our guide book and since we were in the area we stopped. The tour was awesomely informative. Our guide knew a lot about the history of the Abbey and the area, and told it all in an informative, relaxed manner. We...More

Hi Edward, they have a small centre on-site and they may be able to help you. It is run by the Office of Public Works, OPW. if you search online they should have a contact email you could use.
