It is free, with very magnificent views of Ben Bulben Mountain. On site there is a wonderful craft/teahouse, with some very sumptuous eats, both savoury & sweet. One thing you should remember, there are no public toilets on this site, which is difficult to comprehend...More

Very small, unassuming grave for what is one of Ireland's literary geniuses. Very well kept church and surrounding graveyard. Beautiful tribute to Yeat's poetry on the approch from the car park. Nice place to wander and think!

Visited yeats' grave in drumcliffe and was pleasantly surprised. The church itself was lovely but seeing benbulben in the background just topped it off. Really enjoyed it.

How unique and admirable, the national pride and affection with which the Irish embrace their writers and poets! And W.B. Yeats is first among his peers in his importance to the culture, politics and history of the Island. His grave is located in a quiet...More

We were driving nearby and decided to look for the great Irish poet's grave. I had read that Yeats had actually died in France and that some years later his remains had been brought back to Drumcliff. Despite the gathering evening gloom we looked at...More
