When I go to Howth I really like to go to this lighthouse. The view is really good, and walking to it, you can feel the sea and the wind on your skin and to breath a different air.

Just an hour train ride from Killiney, Howth offers not just fresh and delicious fish and chips. But a great afternoon stroll by the Lighthouse with seagulls and light sea breeze. A great way to enjoy the good weather in Ireland. And from a distance,...More

I would recommend going at sunset, as the views and lighting are breathtaking and wonderful! The sun sets around 8:30-40 p.m. in May. Not much of a hike, and lots of photos to be had at the Marina, Howth Cliff views and of course the...More

We stopped in howth on our way back to Dublin. What a beautiful fishing port and harbour. The walk along the docks is beautiful and plenty of options for food or fresh seafood. If your lucky you can see sea lions in water.

Such a perfect day was this day. Slowly walked to the Lighthouse, was seeing the harbour with little ships. I became so calm down.

It was raining but we still wanted to walk the wall to see the wildness of the water, as well as the old stones that form the wall.

We had a nice walk to the end of the pier to see the lighthouse. It was rather busy the day we went over. I think it was Bank Holiday in Ireland so lots of people had the day off and ventured to the park....More

I spent a day in Howth there are few things to see and one is the lighthouse . By the harbour , reachable from town center by bus or dart. Very busy little town on weekends, many tourists and local people hanging over.

The lighthouse is very well placed in the harbor and walking on the pier up to there is quite an experience. You need to get windy jackets because is usually windy and bit of cold on both pier and lighthouse point. However, the landscape is...More
