This is a great pub right next to the Dart station with a wonderful smell of peat smoke from the burning fire. A nice place to eat or relax and drink a pint of Guinness

Just chanced this place after getting off the train to torrential rain. Fantastic cosy fire in the restaurant and friendly staff. We had wings, a delicious goats cheese salad, beef and ale pie and sweet potato fries. Food was really tasty and was served quickly. Mid range price wise but worth every penny! Give it a go!!

We only popped inn for a drink while we were waiting for the DART back to Dublin centre, after walking around Howth for the afternoon. The staff were very friendly and chatty at the bar and the fire was roaring creating a lovely warm snug and it smelt wonderful! Didn't eat there but would recommend for drinks if you're looking... We decided to pop into The Bloody Stream for a drink. Normally the restaurant is at the fire but due to the fact a band was playing it was set up at the other end and upstairs. We were looking at the menu and thought we would a starter or two. We ordered a ton of starters. They were Great.... More

Decided to have a drink after having a lovely meal in the upper deck bar and restaurant in Howth. Having only just entered the bar I was told by a lounge girl to move as I was all ways in her way, as I had only just entered the premises I felt she was rude and uneducated, therefore we left.... Had a few drinks here on Friday evening. It wasn't packed so we got a nice seat by the not real fire up one end. There is a lovely real fire at the other end of the pub too. The drinks are reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and efficient.

This is one of Howth's most popular pubs, particularly with young people, so it can be fairly noisy late weekend nights particularly. Its a great place for lunch, it is excellent for its fish. But my favourite visit is when I just drop in for their great fish chowder - full of flavour and full of a variety of fish.... More
