This bridge became famous in the film The Quiet Man starring John Wayne and Maureen OHarra. It is areally structure miles from nowhere on the road to Clifden in Donegal. Loads of folk stop to get their picture taken

Well, if you pass by this road, it is worth to stop and take a picture, nothing special but the title of an old movie with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. The whole village of Cong lives today on remembering this movie.

Just loved John Wayne and Maureen Ohara movies so we couldn't pass this spot up.
Bridge is very close to main road. Nice picnic and pullover spot for cars.
I had to see it.. it was worth it. :)
It is away from Cong (where the Quiet Man museum is). It is a little past Oughterard on the way to Clifden (n59). There is a turnoff from the n59 signposted Leam. It's only a short distance from the turnoff.
