Animal interaction at it's best. See all the funny antics of our friendly animals, you will get to feed, pet and even hold some of them. Over 50 species of animals to see, an 1850s cottage, a nature walk and fairy trail, a large outdoor and indoor play area and a soft play toddler area, so there is something for eeryone. Lots to do throughout the year: Summer season runs from March to Sept (please check our website for exact dates), Easter Egg Hunts Easter Sat, Sun and Mon at 3pm, Halloween Spooktastic Event during the mid term break, and foe the month of December the farm is transfered into Ireland's Lapland.

Visited here with our 1 1/2 year old and had a great time. €16 for both of us and she was free. We were given 2 bags of food to feed the animals. We could get up close to most animals and the indoor playground was a perfect way to finish off a lovely trip.

My friends and I drove all the way from Dublin just to visit this pet farm. There are lots of different animals and young animals. They are really cute and the animals are extremely friendly. The owner also explained to us about emu hatching eggs, which was very informative. The staffs are very friendly and lovely. Definitely recommended for animal... More

I was there on Easter Saturday with my partner and daughter. We have been to a fair few pet farms with her and were very impressed with Glendeer. It is run like a well oiled machine. All of the staff we met were friendly and professional. The animals looked well cared for, happy and their living quarters were well maintained.... More

Amazing selection of animals, which we could feed and touch. There are both indoor and outdoor play facilities for children and lots of nice walk ways for all age groups Our favourites were the maze and the zip wire

Ok, so I was impressed with the welfare of the animals and the keeper chap was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He let me hold the 5 day old baby goat which was utterly fab. Gorgeous puppies, 2 separate litters which they buy and sell on as they do with all the new borns but still it had a nice atmosphere... More

I have been to Glendeer with my brother & sister-in-law and my 1 1/2 year old nephew on 2 occasions over the past 2 years. Once when he was under 18 months so was no charge and recently this year. His eyes have lit up at both Glendeer visits - he loved the animals - staring at them, a little... More

We went to visit Santa Christmas week, it's our third year to see him there. It's a magical palce that the kids love, they particularly love feeding the animals and Sana's reindeer's too. They have a nic indoor play area and a separate area for toddlers, and our boys favourite the sandpit with diggers.

We have visited several times to see Santa over the years and so have seen the farm change and develop a little over time. There is a good variety of animals for children to see on the way in and they are given a little bag of food so they can feed them. There are also opportunities to cuddle small... More
