We took a short stop here during our Ring Of Kerry tour. There are public restrooms, so we got out and took a stroll, stretched our legs and took in the rocky landscape to the Waterville Beach.

Waterville is a very remote part of Ireland and takes a long time to get there from Tipperary or Cork. Very wild landscape. The journey there has majestic and breathtaking scenery.

Waterville beach was good for a morning stroll but it was quite rocky. The beach was a good length. Close to the main road.

A beautiful rugged shore, surrounded by a quaint town. We stopped here for a break from our drive and really wished that we could have stayed longer.

Looks like the surfer dudes and dudettes like the beach. Large sandy area with waves crashing into it periodically - wait - that is exactly like a beach!

THis is a great spot to stop along the Ring of Kerry. There is a parking lot. Public restroom. Many restaurants along this road. Beware there are many many tour buses that stop here as well. Especially around lunch time.

Stones then some sand. Quiet seafront. Picnic benches and grassy area. Toilets on the front. Safe place to stop with children. Cafes and bars on the road nearby.
