The roads are narrow and winding to this one, but we loved the view and walking around the fort. If you are around Waterville, I would recommend.

Well worth a visit. This homestead has been described as remote. It is not ,and never was remote. When it was built the sea was the highway and it had a prime position with Skellig Micheal in its sights, Now it can be seen from the...More

Just off the ring of Kerry but really quiet and a lovely reconstruction of a fort The location is stunning! Parking for about 4 cars is also available.

A bit off the tourist path but well worth it. Nobody was there when we went. Beautiful scenary surrounds the fort. Pictures came out beautifully. Getting there through narrow road was fun as well.

I would highly recommend visiting this fort. The drive down from the main Ring of Kerry road is via a single lane road like many other roads in Kerry but this is not a big challenge. My kids loved the fort and it really got...More

Really interesting ring fort in excellent condition a real insight into how people lived of great historic interest - very atmospheric. Road is very narrow but is certainly worth the effort.
