Located at the end of O'connell st is this historic building, which has been renovated tastefully. Built in the 17 century as a courthouse, now a Heritage OPW site. currently closed, however, we still appreciated the historic value of the building.

The Main Guard was built in the end of 17th century. It is the interesting building with 19th century photo exposition including 3D images and Easter Rising exposition. It is free so why not to visit it.
