This is a lovely bar with loads of character and a great outdoor seating area. The resident cats are great and friendly. The staff are very helpful. It was lovely to see locals bringing their dogs. I would highly recommend visiting this bar.

Decided to pop down to the harbour bar's fish shack for dinner yesterday evening. It was my first time eating there and I wasn't disappointed! The fish was so fresh and the batter to die for! Tartar sauce was incredible. If you're into your fish...More

The pub itself is lovely but Fish Bar was surprisingly poor. Fish&Chips was terrible! Batter inedible, feels like a crab shell, you'd need a hammer to get into. Chips are gigantic and tasteless. What they call mashed peas is more like smashed peas. Doesn't cost...More

Love this bar. Something for everyone. Bar section with Irish trad/folk and separate gig area with frequent live music. Great supporter of local musicians, the Eskies for example, and interesting themed events from time to time (toasted sandwich festival being one of the highlights). Beer...More

Went here with a friend for drinks. The bar gets busy quickly, and has a great friendly upbeat vibe about it. There are many rooms across the two floors, and there also ample outdoor seating if the weather is nice. The staff are very friendly...More

We sat outside to enjoy the lovely June weather. They had live musuo inside and a separate fish and chips stand (cash only for the food) which was very good. Enjoyable evening.

Hiya , yes Irish traditional folk music is played by a good band in the bar section, if you get bored, more contemporary style music is played in the lounge.
