Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I stopped here as our first stop in New Brunswick. It's a beautiful waterfall. The waterfall stop also has a visitor center and gift shop, which were both closed at the end of April. The parking lot is tough to turn out of as traffic is very busy.

Nice stop on the drive from PEI to Quebec. Pulled over to stretch our legs and check out the huge falls.

Amazingly strong currents and the swollen river dashing past and through the rocks made for a thrilling time.
We walked all the way down past the campsite at the end of the gorge.
The paths are easy to navigate and there are loads of viewing platforms along the way.
La Rochelle Center is worth a stop for local stuff.
There’s also a kids playground with water features.

The falls and the river are so beautiful and the facilities to watch them are set up in a great building that has all kinds of great programs for children and information

When the dam is slowly releasing water, you can see the rocks of the gorge. Nature is amazing! Those same rocks are covered under water when the dam is fully opened and water is rushing over them. One of the exhilarating sites of this gorge are the people who bravely Zip Line across it lol Lots of locals and die hard Zip liners love the Zip Zag in Grand Falls, New Brunswick. It was amazing to watch.

You must see for yourself. The well designed information station provides story boards and models that really enhance the experience of the falls.

Grand Falls are spectacular and not to be missed if you are in NW New Brunswick, Canada. Or in Norther Maine they are a short ride across the border from Van Buren or Caribou, Maine. There is a zip line the crosses the canyon and a trail you can hike along. Also, take the 400+ steps down to the bottom of the canyon. On Saturdays ther is a sweet farmers market with in season veggies, baked goods, crafts, maple syrup, soaps, etc.

On our way from Halifax to Québec City, we made a short detour to see the Grand Falls Gorge. There is a nice viewing platform behind the tourist center. It was definitely worth the detour.
