Visited Alliwee Caves to see Santa and went to watch Birds of Prey with my wife and children. Excellent live show with the Birds of Prey, very passionate staff , explaining all the details of the birds and involved the children in the show. I highly recommend it.

We were there in September, probably during the week, and it was pretty quiet. We liked that aspect for sure. The information was interesting and the talks were fabulous. We missed the second talk, but my nephews went and really liked that one as well. All the kids had a turn letting the birds land on them and getting up... More

Very impressive show featuring a harris hawk, peregrine falcon, and a white-tailed eagle. The falconers are knowledgeable and fun, and the birds are clearly well cared for with open enclosures and the hills of the Burren to fly around. Oh...and the show is interactive! I and other members of the audience were also invited to hold Raul the hawk. <3

This is a lovely place and I'd choose it over the cave. The staff is lovely and the birds are absolutely wonderful, especially the owls.

This is a really fun place to learn about a whole lot of different birds. We got to see falcons, owls, and vultures in the demo (and at least one of the owls is not at all afraid of people - I took an owl wing to the head on at least three separate occasions since he wasn't inclined to... More

A great experience for young and old alike. The birds are displayed very well in their aviaries with very well written notes that complement the very comprehensive, free, audio guide for each species. The falconry display is very well presented by friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable presenters who are at ease, both with the birds and the audience alike.
