I visited because my family wanted me to come along, not because I expected a barren exposure of rocks to be interesting. This is a great example of what makes Ireland a deeply compelling place to visit, even by non-Irish tourists like me.

The burden is the typical landscape in the area. It is really beautiful attractive but when you are here, it is a must to visit it and take notice of the characteristics

seeing the burren is one thing. it looks barren. actually walking on it is an amazing experience, not to be missed. the flora on it is amazing, as are the rock structures, walls, cairns, etc.
