Stunning and well worth the drive out of the town. Sent a lovely 3 hours time flew by the weather was fantasic for December loved the walk from the visitors centre to the Castle. Will be back in the longer summer evenings!

This place really is a gem. We visited on a warm summers day and it really was beautiful. We walked all around the lake and it was so peaceful. The house and Gardens are also nice to walk around just make sure to wear insect repellent.

We never tire visiting Glenveigh Castle & Gardens. It is closed until the 2nd of January but if you are in the area after that it is a must.

Little gem, great walk. Food at the café cheap and tasty. It takes 40 minutes to reach the castle but you can buy a return ticket by bus if you are tired or in a rush.

This is hidden gem, on the 4K walk from the entrance to the castle we must have taken 100 pics around every corner there was something amazing about the landscape, the lake was so still it was like a mirror for the mountains & beautiful burnt red countryside. On reaching the castle even though it is winter the grounds were... More
