It's free to visit the Mill. After watching a short video, a guide will take you through both the Corn and Flax Mills. It was only my husband and I and our guide, Dave was great at explaining the conditions, operations and history of the Mill. Nice visit!

Excellent place to learn about rural life of the past in connection to the corn and flax milling in the area. Good parking and toilets. Excellent video, museum, tour guide and tour all for free. Well worth a visit if you have the time.

It was our good fortune that we arrived 30 minutes before closing and were able to enjoy a private tour... More

Happened upon this place one fine Sunday! What a lucky charm as it was Heritage week and they were demonstrating the use of the mill. Loved the experience. Well Kept and lovely place to visit.

Really well worth a visit. Tour guide was very good at explaining how things were done in that time. Really showed how hard times were.

We're so glad we stopped by the mill. There are two mills dating to the Victorian and Second World War periods, and you get a completely free tour of both of them. The grain ("corn") mill is the larger one and it's in working condition. We'd thoroughly recommend this experience. The friendly guide, Gavin, explained everything really well. The exhibits... More

I really can't recommend this enough. We learnt such a great deal about flax, oat and barley milling. Our guide Gavin was very good. Many thanks. Even more impressive is that they do not charge and there is plenty of car parking.
