The strand is Youghal is one of the most beautiful in Ireland, and I have visited often. Last year's addition of the new boardwalk makes it more accessible, including people who may find it difficult to walk on the sands. I only wish more beaches...More

This is a great amenity and really compliments the beach, great for a walk for all the family. My only downside is it would be nice to see a few rubbish bins located along the walk.

It's been quite a few years since I've been to Youghal and particularly Youghal beach. The boardwalk is a fabulous addition enabling multi-access to the beachfront, which was a feast for the senses on a bright blue-skied summer day.

It is a good stretch of the legs around 15 minutes ,but well worth the effort particularly on a nice day or for the matter on a windy day ,blow off the cobwebs before lunch and enjoy the outdoors.
