I love this Metal Man. Twice I have been close to it at the base but one can no longer do that becasue it's on private property so you need binoculars to see what he's really like.

The Metal Man is a bit of a let down in that it is inaccessible due to being beyond a field clearly marked private property. Still, with a decent camera lens a few photos can be taken.

Lovely cove superbly kept by the swimming club. Great for swimming and diving. Plenty of picnic space and a BBQ area. Great views over Tramore bay.

We tried to approach the Metal Man which is a well known Tramore landmark and it was fenced off with barbed wire. Surely this is a public monument and should be available - like the Hook Lighthouse - for locals and tourists to visit? I...More

It is a very dangerous cliff walk but well worth it. I went on a wet day so my legs and boots got soaked. It is right on the edge of the coast so don't go if you scared of heights. The scenery is beautiful....More
