My husband and I decided to go to Ireland on our recent honeymoon. I've always wanted to feel like royalty, so why not stay in a castle in Ireland, we thought. Dromoland Castle was even better than we had expected! The 400+ acres of grounds are so much fun to explore. We could walk for hours on the grounds, just... More

We walked around the grounds for hours, it was so beautiful, quiet, romantic like a fairy tale. Remember to bring your camera!

Had high tea at Dromoland Castle. The selection was varied and very tasty. The amount of selection was quite large so go with an empty stomach. Service was excellent.

You can tell this establishment has a hands on very well experienced GM. I have stayed and interacted with most 5 star hotels in Europe and It's clear this hotels policy is run by a hands on exceptional GM. Service is without doubt the best I have experienced to date. Idealic location and super amenities. A great choice for anyone... More

Fantastic Castle is well preserved and is also an expensive hotel. Falconry, horseback riding, horse drawn carriages and golf are some of the activities offered.

The castle is beautiful. Customer Service was outstanding. Love the main dining room and the food was fantastic. The horse drawn carriage tour was full of history and fun. The rooms were like a fairytale. Stay at least 3 days or more. Worth every dollar. Best Castle in Ireland. Love this place and we will be back. Not one bad... More

Walked the grounds including the walled garden while staying here. Peaceful and pretty. The castle is a magnificent edifice and the grounds are impeccably kept. The garden had manicured hedges you'd love to be able to have at home.

From the moment my friend and I started planning our trip to Ireland, we knew we wanted the experience of a high tea. We chose to make reservations for Mrs. White's tea room and were not disappointed. We may have looked like "country comes to town", but we were treated like royalty. Everyone we met treated us with utmost courtesy.... More

If you are looking for a truly class experience, this is it. It is not inexpensive, but worth every euro. The staff are very well trained to look after the guests.

We spent 10 days in Ireland this summer and the highlight of our trip was our stay at Dromoland Castle. From the moment we pulled up we felt like Irish royalty. We started with high tea - we thought we'd have a little tea and few treats. It was more food than we could eat and the service was white... More
