Got to be up there with the best - with the only thing missing is a bin ! Having the Shack on the edge of the beach is brilliant - great coffee and so restful in the pretty garden

Echoing other writers this is an absolute gem of a beach and to find it with less than 20 people on a sunny September day was amazing.

White sands and clear blue waters reminds me of the Côte d’Azur! Not to be missed if you are fortunate enough to be in Dunfanaghy in the sunshine. Suitable for people of all age groups. Hinterland scenery is breathtaking! Bring the surfboards and the wetsuits.

Stopped here on our trip to Donegal and found this beach to be so beautiful. It has golden sand and a lovely sheltered beach. The beach is safe to swim or surf. Well worth a stop.

Really high quality beach, which has bathroom facilities down the road and coffee/tea/ice cream hut actors the road from the beach. So great services literally at the beach! Large beach with plenty of space of lots of visitors. Would definitely recommend a visit.

There is nowhere more inspiring to walk in the early morning any day of the year. Heaving at holiday time, it is delightfully deserted at other times of the day and year.
