Well worth the 15 minute drive. Vistas from several spots. Truly awe inspiring. We had perfect weather so may be biased

Stunning views - the only "slight"dissapointment was that there was a lot of mist which, in one sense added to the beauty. The sense of quiet & peace was wonderful. A lovely place to visit.

Accessed through Dunfanaghty, Horn Head loop is about a 60 minute drive around a small peninsula that includes Horn Head, offering spectacular views along the coastline. As good a scenery as is offered along the WAW, which is saying something. Well worth the detour if...More

This was a stunning scenic drive along the coast. The narrow roads and sheer drops were slightly terrifying to be honest but its not to be missed!

The loop is a “must do” trip, either walking or, for us, driving in our motorhome - despite the narrow road! The views from the east side are awesome (on a nice day!) and the trip work s fine if everyone follows the sign and...More

We parked at the viewing point decided to walk the loop. The conditions were favourable for walking. Sunshine, blue sky, clear cool air , no sign of rain. The descent to sea level was utterly amazing. The bird life, their song, the smell of the gorse....More

Hi I would walk the Horn Head loop. You can park at the bottom and walk the road up. It is a narrow road and cars will be driving up too. It is quite steep but worth it for the view. It would maybe take a couple of hours... More

Walking the whole of the peninsula would take a long time. Probably better to drive it and park to take in the awesome views. Or, better still, ask a local. Sorry I can’t be of more help but do enjoy the scenery!
