Killary Adventure Company was founded in 1981 and has grown to become Ireland's premier adventure company offering excitement, fun, quality accommodation and activities. Still a family business it never stands still and consistently offers an amazing experience of the outdoors to all its customers, aged 8 to 80! The accommodation base, located on the Wild Atlantic Way overlooking Killary Fjord, includes cosy en-suite rooms, bar, restaurant and recreation areas with views all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. There is also a campsite onsite with tent and campervan pitches. You may decide to launch yourself from Ireland's only fixed Bungee, kayak along the fjord or alternatively your spirit of adventure may be met by a guided walk along old tracks steeped in local history. Come along with the kids for an extraordinary family day out or drop them off at a summer camp while you explore the wild beauty of Connemara. Choose Killary Adventure Company as a base for your west of Ireland adventure and while you are here choose from over 20 adventure activities to really experience what the west has to offer.

Brilliant day. Four teens did the turf challenge, covered in mud and they had the best time ever. Special thanks to Tadhg the instructor who was brilliant. For the people just watching you can see the challenge at various points. 100% recommend. Added bonus that the views are amazing

Amazing fun filled week. New friends, new adventures, new firsts. Will be back with younger brother in tow next summer. Can't wait. Highly recommended. I'm 13yrs old and loved it.

My son attended killary with 3 friends last week in June. They had a super time there. Raved about the activities & friendliness of staff. Food was good but portions were a little small for growing ( 15/16 yr olds) who have burned up alot of calories during activities. I would advise packing a few extra dry food stuff.There is a shop there though where you can get some food. They stayed in a 6 bunk bed room with their own en suite. This adventure center comes highly recommended for a great week of fun & friendships.

Second year in a row of summer camp at Killary. My kids simply love it. They want to go again next year.
Beautiful location, great team, lots of fun, 24 hrs supervision, activities from morning to late evening, the best cake my kids ever ate, no time for playing with the tablet :)

Excellent accommodation and food was superb. Shower was so good and the place was spotless. Staff were all so helpful and friendly. Definite be back.

We had a 2-Night, joint Stag and Hen Party in Killary Adventure Company with approximately 30 guests and it was the best weekend of our lives. First and foremost the staff were incredibly accommodating, from handling the booking process, to going above and beyond their duties throughout the weekend, to their excellent leadership during the activities, we couldn't have asked for more. Our guests raved about their accommodation, the beds were some of the comfiest I'd ever slept in and the hot showers were truly a "warm" welcome, but what our guests complimented the most was the food, we couldn't believe how delicious our dinner was and we'd absolutely recommend this option to anyone booking. There is a wide range of activities to chose from, we participated in both the High Ropes Challenge and the Turf Warrior Challenge and we are still talking about them, both are incredibly good fun and suitable for people of all abilities but if I was to recommend one activity it would have to be the Turf Warrior Challenge, I would do it again in a heartbeat!!! Each night we were taxied from the Activity Centre to either Leenaun Village or Westport and brought home again safely to the Centre when ready, it was so nice not to have to arrange this service ourselves and gave us great peace of mind throughout the night knowing that we would be well looked after. Overall Killary Adventure Company surpassed all our expectations and I would recommend them to anyone considering a Stag, Hen, or STEN Party!

We were a hen group of 22 women and I couldn’t recommend Killary more. The staff and Zoe in particular were so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed. The food was delicious, and we booked the upstairs lounge for both evenings to host our party. The lounge was sound proof which meant we could sing our hearts out and didn’t disturb any of the other groups!
The rooms were comfy and clean dorms.
We did the bog activity which was hilarious and a complete workout! The instructs were great at encouraging everyone to get involved.
They then organised a bus for us to Westport for the Saturday night!
On the Sunday morning we booked in to use their seaside sauna which was such a lovely way to end the weekend.
I couldn’t recommend the Killary adventure company more for any hen do needs!

First time there for turf warrior, it was easy to find and the scenery around is fantastic. Only issue was phone signal but that's to be expected considering the location, the WiFi was good but only worked in the community areas.

Majority of the staff was nice and helpful.The food was average but not good for picky eaters bar the first night where the dinner was superb (chicken,homemade wedges etc).It makes you feel independent as u get to pick what u want to eat out of whatever is on the counter.Beds were very comfy! And views were unreal.

What's the wifi like? If I wanted to use my internet in my phone, would that work? And what's the reception like for meteor?
