Very interesting for my two boisterous active kids. They absolutely loved feeding the kangaroos, peacocks and pony. The sheep shearing show was great too. Food at the cafe was also great. We easily spend 3 hrs here without realising.

Although it wasn't the best wildlife park we've been to, Maru wasn't a bad place to stop on our way to Phillip Island. The kids seemed to enjoy feeding the wallabies and they loved the peacocks as well.

We visited this attraction as part our our penguin parade tour. While I don't know if it would be worth a trip to visit it on its own, it was a nice way to break up the trip to Philip Island. Hello BrianVogel Thanks for visiting us at Maru although we are surprised that you don't think we are worth a trip to visit on our own. The last reviewer also came on a bus and said they wanted more time at Maru, so maybe it is a matter of personal opinion and interests. With our animal park, mini-golf, full bistro... More

Visited the Animal Park as part of a trip to Phillip Island. This was our first encounter with Koalas up close, had photo taken with a Koala but not able to hold. First view of Wallabies roaming about and first time seeing a white albeno wallabie. Loads of other animals on site including Wombats, a Tasmanian Devil, Emu, and Native... More

I loved the interaction that was possible with the wallabies, great photo opportunities. The only thing I questioned afterwards was the diet of these wallabies, you can purchase a container of food for the wallabies, and the wallabies definately knows what is in these containers and will hop over hoping for food. Made me wonder about their diet, are they... More

Hello Monica Hand feeding the animals is a nice experience, but no they are not relying on that food. We feed all of our animals a balanced diet of a morning before the park even opens each day. The amount of visitors and potential extra hand feed they receive is assessed at the end of each day and impacts how... More

I have visited Maru several times..and it never gets old. I could live there. I absolutely adore the animals and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn't wait to share the experience with my daughter and she loved it just as much as I did. We have hundreds and hundreds of photos and videos to relive our experiences there.

Was able to get up close and feed a kola. It was a great experience. There was also a Tasmanian Devil in a natural habitat. The kangaroos love to be fed- interesting to see a white one.

We decided to do a round of put put as we spotted the course on the way back from Phillip Island. Brilliant find such a cool, unique and exciting course. The holes were so inventive and mind blowing. We are glad we stumbled across it

The argument at the table was over which was the better meal. My choice of the Flatty Tails or my cousins selection of the Crumbed Lamb Cutlets.
