Stopped off en route to Dunedin. . The tide was in when we visited so we could get closer to the rocks than the cafe. From what we could see the rocks do not look too spectacular and we're not as good as other similar...More

Just pull over and have a look. Not for from the main road. Easy walk along the beach. You won’t be disappointed with how incredible these boulders are. Clean toilets, cafe and souvenirs available

We had heard about this place and were so happy that the tide was friendly to us. We were able to walk the full length of the beach and get great pics of the boulders.

Looks like dinosaurs visited and laid mottled eggs on the beach. Well worth a visit to see what mother nature can do.

Round rocks on the beach. Worth a stop on your way past. You can jump on them etc etc and the beach is nice.

What a remarkable site. Huge boulders which have been formed millions of years ago and have now fallen off the cliffs onto the beach. Pounding waves and strong winds make it a lovely stop before lunch at Fleur's.
